Introduction

These general terms and conditions apply to your purchases on, and your use of, the website https://elfvinge.com/en. The terms constitute an agreement between you and Castlebay Group AB, org. No. 559107-1088, Sågargatan 6B, 753 17 Uppsala (hereafter “Elfvinge”, “Castlebay Group AB” or “we”). By making purchases from and using this website, you commit to the following conditions. We therefore ask that you carefully read the terms and conditions before using our site.

 

Confirmation

Once we have received an order from you, we will send an electronic confirmation/invoice to your email address as confirmation of your purchase. It is therefore important that you enter the correct email address when you place an order. We recommend that you save the confirmation to facilitate any future contact with our customer service. The acknowledgment also represents your receipt of the purchase.

 

Payment

You can choose to pay by bank- or credit card. Castlebay Group AB does not itself handle any bank or credit card numbers. More information about Stripe and their services can be found at Stripe.

Payment with credit card

Pay securely with Visa, Amex or MasterCard over the internet. Your payment is handled with secure encryption and according to strict bank standards. Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or downloaded by anyone other than your bank. We do not charge any additional fees for card payments. However, your bank may charge an extra fee depending on the card type and bank. When paying by credit or debit card, the terms and conditions will apply as soon as the card transaction is approved.

 

Prices

All prices displayed on Elfvinge’s website, https://elfvinge.com/en, are inclusive of VAT, in accordance with applicable legislation. Please note that if an order is sent to a country outside the EU, any import duties and taxes may apply, which will be charged when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You are solely responsible for paying such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Elfvinge has no control over these fees, and since these fees are different for different countries, Elfvinge cannot predict their size. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for further information.

 

Orders

Orders made in someone else’s name without their consent will be notified. Elfvinge reserves the right to change and correct prices for all orders, including final purchases. If a price is incorrect, this can cause Elfvinge to cancel the purchase and repay the amount in the best possible way. This can be done at any time. The customer has the right to return one item within 14 days from when the order was received. This right applies only on the condition that the product and its original packaging are returned in the same condition as on the receipt. If the customer uses his or her right to return a product, the customer must contact Elfvinge to get an address to send the goods to. The return shipment is paid by the customer. If a product is damaged during transport to the customer, Elfvinge must be contacted within 30 days for information on compensation.

 

Warranty

Warranty conditions apply one year from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects. If you want a replacement product that is covered by the guarantee, please contact Elfvinge, either through the contact form on the website or via e-mail. In the email, you need to enter the name, address, order number and a detailed description of the error. Write “Purchase Complaint” as the subject line in your email or letter. The return shipment is paid by Elfvinge.

If Elfvinge does not find any of the defects described above, the product will be sent back to the customer. Please note that repairs/replacement will be charged in the following cases, even if they occur during the warranty period.

  • Faults or damage caused by improper use or negligence
  • Faults or damage caused by fire, water or a natural disaster
  • Aesthetic changes that occurred as a result of normal use or aging
  • If the place of purchase and purchase date are not stated on the warranty or if this information has been written there later
  • This warranty entitles the customer to a free replacement product in accordance with the terms and conditions stated and within the specified time period.

 

Personal information

When you shop on our website, we will save some of your personal information in order for you to be able to complete your purchase. You have the right to request access to your data and if any information is incorrect you may have it changed or removed. Product information

Elfvinge has the right to adjust prices, make changes to the product range and related information without prior notice. The purpose of the product images and information texts provided by Elfvinge is to provide as accurate and realistic a picture as possible of the products. We strive to ensure that all content displayed on this site is correct, but errors may still occur. Elfvinge cannot guarantee that all product images reflect the actual appearance of the products and therefore all product images should be regarded as illustrations. Please note that the product images may vary depending on the color settings of the computer.

 

Deliveries and cancellations

Elfvinge delivers its products worldwide. Deliveries in Sweden are made in cooperation with the PostNord. You have the right to cancel an order and return goods by contacting Elfvinge’s customer service or by using the contact form on our website, which you will find here, within 14 days of receiving the goods. However, this is subject to the goods not being unpacked and being in the same condition as when you received them. The cost and the risk of transporting goods you want to return to Elfvinge are imposed on the customer.

If you, as a customer, feel that the delivery of an item is unusually delayed, which means that you no longer want to make the purchase, it is your responsibility to make a cancellation. If the shipment has already been shipped, the customer must receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until a confirmation has been received from Elfvinge via email. If a product is no longer sold, Elfvinge has the right to cancel the purchase and make a refund. Elfvinge will inform the customer if a returned product or a corresponding product is available.

 

Customer complaints

It is important that you as a customer carefully examine the product when you have received it. If you been injured during transport, you must report this as soon as possible to the carrier. This applies regardless of whether it is visible damage or not. If upon receipt of the product you find that it is damaged or does not correspond to the product you ordered, you should contact us within 30 days.

Any complaints must be made to Elfvinge’s e-mail or via our contact form, which you will find here. Please provide us with your order number and the reason for your complaint we will return with further instructions on returning the product.

Incorrect products returned to Elfvinge should still be treated carefully by the customer and as if they were faultless. Whatever the reason for the return, it is of great importance that the product is packed so that it cannot be damaged during transport. If a returned product does not have any faults, Elfvinge will return the product to the customer. If a product is to be replaced, this is done against a product of the corresponding model. If a certain product is no longer available, the customer is instead entitled to a refund.

 

Responsibility

Elfvinge’s liability for errors in connection with delivery is limited in accordance with the applicable delivery terms for the delivery in question and what follows from these conditions. Our liability to you for any losses or damages arising in connection with your order at www.elfvinge.se is limited to the total amount of your order. Elfvinge has no responsibility for indirect losses.

 

User-generated content (UGC)

Our website may include UGC from e.g. social media. Elfvinge takes no legal responsibility for the material. If you suspect copyright infringement please contact our customer support.

 

Ownership rights

Elfvinge owns the ownership right to the product until the full payment has been made by the customer.

 

Fraud

All kind of fraud attempt will be reported to the police. Elfvinge owns the right to cancel a purchase if we have any suspicion of fraud.

 

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swedish law applies to these terms and conditions and your use of this website. To the extent permitted by law, the Swedish court shall have exclusive jurisdiction with regard to disputes arising out of these conditions or your use of the website, except in cases where Elfvinge chooses to take legal action against a customer/user where it is domiciled.

 

Validity of clauses

If one or more of these conditions is declared invalid or convicted as ineffective by the court or supervisory authority, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions.

 

Righteous owner

The intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyrights, on www.elfvinge.se, which belong to Elfvinge may not be used for commercial purposes without the permission of Elfvinge. Any use of https://elfvinge.com/en or its contents, including copying or storing such content in its entirety or parts thereof, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Elfvinge. This website is exclusively owned by Castlebay Group AB. All material appearing on this website is reserved for Elfvinge.

 

Modifications

Elfvinge may review these general terms and conditions from time to time. Every time you buy an item from us, the terms and conditions that apply at any time will apply to the contract between you and Elfvinge.
